Background
Alex Systems partnered with Laszlo Systems
to develop a RIA using their unique development
tools. We were the first company to create an RIA Gift Registry/e-commerce
demo with a user experience substantially different from any of the
Gift or Bridal registries available today.
Solution
Showcase the advantages of a RIA by designing a way to view and select
gifts that results in a significantly superior user experience using
the Laszlo technology.

Eliminated page refreshes, consolidated # of pages, drag + drop,
min and max cart views.
- Birds-eye View
Created the birds-eye view component, the user can quickly see
all products based on user's search criteria.
- RIA development leader
Laszlo Systems was so impressed with our Gift Registry demo they
commissioned us to create Laszlo software components that can
be used by other developers to create new RIA applications in
less time.
